With a limited amount of time devoted to watching mind sucking television, I do live in a sort of bubble where the vast majority of news events pass me by (no loss). Even when I take the plunge and pick up a newspaper there’s always some frantic page scanner going on until finding stories that fit well with my various interests.
This time around I came across a story about Matthew Bamber dragging himself up (and down) 3 of Cumbria’s highest peaks with a fridge strapped to his back all in aid of Help for Heroes. Yeah I know the climbing with fridge thing has been done before but as someone who often carries a lot of weight on multi day wild camping trips, its easy to appreciated the struggle he went through.
Birds Eye Drone Video
Something a little different here and yet another reason I desperately want a reliable (and lightweight) drone for camping trips that can take my Go Pro 🙂
Following Matthew on Skiddaw Mountain this drone shot video gives a great sense of the scale when it comes to the surrounding landscape.
