Popped out onto the coast path for a lovely Mawgan Porth wild camp on Friday. An easy 6 mile walk from home along with overnight temperatures of 16 degrees made for a great trip (and a clear contrast to the 2 days spent camping/partying in Penzance last weekend for Mazey day!)

Been a long time since I’ve headed out along this section of the coast path and it was nice not to have a full memory of the route, so that at least some places were brand new again.

Even on such a straight forward camp, I still managed to walk head first into some very pissed off wasps and attract the attention of 2 very drunk guys in the early hours of the morning 🙂

Was hoping for a double camp this weekend with plans for Saturday night in place, but have been feeling a little rough after going WAY TOO FAR on Mazey day and decided to chill out at home instead.

With a few weeks of cracking weather already gone, its seems that we’re in for some more of the same in the coming weeks and I’m already plotting for the next outing. There’s a bunch more pictures added to the Wanderings Picture Gallery from this camp and the Penzance Mazey day weekend.
